Tiziano Vecelli atau Vecellio atau lebih dikenal dengan nama Titian, lahir sekitar tahun 1488 sampai 1490 – Meninggal pada 27 Agustus 1576, Titian adalah salah satu pelukis terbesar dari zaman Renaissance. Ia berasal dari kota Venezia, Italia.

Titian pada masanya disebut sebagai  " Matahari diantara bintang-bintang  kecil", Titian merupakan salah satu pelukis Italia yang multi talenta, ahli dalam melukis wajah serta figur manusia, ahli dalam melukis pemandangan alam sebagaimana latar belakang pemandangan alam dalam sebagian besar karya lukisanya, ia juga ahli dalam mitologi dan agama. 

Gaya dan tehnik lukisanya, khususnya dalam penerapan dan penggunaan warna, memberikan pengaruh besar tidak hanya pada pelukis Renaisans Italia, tapi juga pada generasi masa depan seni Barat.
